Summer Success Despite ‘Unprecedented Times’

American Labor Merit Badge

The global pandemic was no reason for Troop 73 Scouts to sit back and ignore their Scouting journey this summer. Our Troop 73 Scouts overcame the hurdle of having the annual trip to Camp Winnebago cancelled this year and took their learning online. Largely boosted by the Troop’s online summer camp, but also by individual efforts, 17 of our Scouts completed a total of 33 merit badges this Summer. There are also many partials in the works. And seven Scouts advanced a rank. All will be honored at the October Court of Awards.
